Our chapter's goal is to put out a quarterly newsletter, Ocean's Roar. We're always seeking volunteers to help write short articles on chapter activities or issues related to our mission. Photographcs and original art are also desired and welcomed, as well as occasional help with distribution around town.

Newsletter Committee
Chapter newsletters are a great way to involve the community and keep them updated on chapter activities. We can't stress enough the importance of educating the community and members non-active about the priorities of the chapter.

Newsletter Contributor
We currently try for a quarterly issue, and short articles or reports of chapter events, eco-education, and issue updates will always be welcome. As a general rule of thumb, please try to limit your writing to subjects of interest and relevance to the Surfrider Foundation's mission, and remember you don't have to be an English or Journalism major to write for the newsletter, so please don't feel intimidated. We're all volunteers!

Contributors can expect to attend events and take notes, to interview appropriate people, and to research subject matter as needed. Appropriate photos to illustrate articles will also be considered. Give it a try!?We'll be waiting to hear from you!
