1st Annual Blue Water Festival

Proud host of the latest Brown family film, Peel: The Peru Project

With proceeds benefiting Surfrider Santa Cruz and the Aquatic Protection Agency

  • Surf film premiere, featuring Peel:  the Peru Project— directed by T.J. Barrack & Wes Brown and starring Mark Healey, Jamie Sterling, Jesse Colombo, Randy Bonds,
    Magoo de la Rosa, and Sofia Mulanovich—with screenings at 11:00 am, 1:00 pm, and 3:00 pm
  • Autograph signing by Santa Cruz stand-outs Randy Bonds and Jesse Colombo (Peel: the Peru Project)
  • Live music:
    • Jimmy Chicken Pants (blue grass) - 11am -12 pm
    • The Expendables (surf music) -12:00-1:15 pm
    • Nathan Paine (Peel soundtrack) - 1:30-2:30 pm
    • The Woodsmen (surf music) - 2:45-3:30 pm
    • Soul Majestic (reggae) - 3:30-5:00 pm
  • Sustainable seafood demonstration by Pebble Beach’s Dave Carlson
  • Demo & raffling off of surf airbrushing design by Jen Raynes (a.k.a. “Mad Dog Jen”)
  • Bikini fashion show (throughout the day)
  • Classic surfboard displays
  • Non-profit tables by many local non-profit agencies
