CALL FOR ENTRIES
The Santa Cruz chapter of Surfrider is hosting a shorts film festival at the Del Mar Theater on April 26, 2012 to celebrate the dedication of Santa Cruz as a World Surfing Reserve. Filmmakers are invited to submit surfing and coastal themed films that feature the coasts of Santa Cruz County. A volunteer jury will select several films to be screened at the festival (along with a professional feature-length film). Films must be no more than six minutes long.
There are two categories for submitting entries: a Juniors category (filmmakers must be 16 and under) and a General category (anyone can enter).
All entries must be received at the Santa Cruz Surfrider office (2222 East Cliff Drive #234, Santa Cruz CA 95062) by Thursday April 5, 2012. Entries may be mailed via USPS or submitted in person.
We only require that filmmakers are current members of Surfrider, Santa Cruz. If you are not yet a member or need to renew your membership go to http://www.surfrider.org/membership. All entries must be accompanied by an entry form, which can be found at www.surfridersantacruz.org.
